BARRY SINGER opened Chartwell Booksellers in 1983. It remains “The World’s Only Winston Churchill Bookstore.” As a journalist, he has written extensively for the N.Y. Times, The New Yorker, New York magazine and Opera News, among many others, and has authored the books, BLACK AND BLUE: THE LIFE AND LYRICS OF ANDY RAZAF, a N.Y. Times Notable Book of the Year; ALIVE AT THE VILLAGE VANGUARD with Lorraine Gordon, an ASCAP Deems Taylor Award winner;” and EVER AFTER: 40 Years of Musical Theater and Beyond.

LEA SINGER is in her junior year of college.

SARA SINGER is a freshman.
