CATHERINE GRACE KATZ is a Chicago-based writer and historian who graduated Harvard with a BA in History and received her MPhil in Modern European History from Christ’s College, University of Cambridge. While working in finance in New York City, she discovered Chartwell Booksellers in her building lobby, leading her to abandon spreadsheets and return to history and writing as a career, with The Daughters of Yalta, her first book. She received a JD from Harvard Law School in 2023.
