A limited number of slipcased “HAT BOXES” were issued by Knopf on the occasion of the publication of “LOOK, I MADE A HAT: Collected Lyrics (1981-2011),” the companion volume to “FINISHING THE HAT: Collected Lyrics (1954-1981).”
This “HAT BOX” is signed on the slipcase by Stephen Sondheim in black marker. It contains mint dust jacketed First Edition copies of both volumes; each volume signed in ink by Mr. Sondheim on their respective title pages. Laid-in also is an invitation to the publication party for FINISHING THE HAT at Chartwell Booksellers.
