Description
This is a very good copy of the First English edition, without dust jacket. Churchill’s Foreword appears on Page ix as a facsimile typewritten letter, complete with signature. The spine type here has faded and there is a former owner’s inkstamp on the front pastedown, just above the shadow of a bookplate that has been removed. The contents are otherwise fine.
