This was the first American appearance for Churchill’s essay following U.K. publication in Nash’s Pall Mall (July 1924) under the title “Why I Gave Up Flying: The Story of Two Almost Fatal Crashes.”
A very good copy of a gorgeous magazine that also contains contributions by W. Somerset Maugham and Don Marquis.
