Collector's Guide

The Unrelenting Struggle was the second volume of Churchill’s collected World War II speeches (covering 1940-1941). It includes his historic maiden speech to the U.S. Congress on the day after Christmas 1941. Churchill’s speeches were collected and published yearly throughout the war in both the U.K. and the U.S.

Description

A very rare example of the only war speech volume published in English in a non-English speaking country (Sweden). This is a very good copy, in an unclipped, edge-chipped dust jacket, with fractional loss on the upper edge of the front face. The elaborate cloth binding is virtually mint and the contents are fine. The original handwritten bookseller sales slip is laid-in.
Rare decidedly.
