Description
This is a very good set of Main Volume First English editions, all in correct dust jackets.
-Volume I jacket is price-clipped but otherwise virtually mint. The book and contents are fine.
-Volume II jacket is price-clipped and very faintly edge-chipped at the spine head and tail. The book and contents are fine, with fading to the topstain.
-Volume III jacket is partially clipped and is faintly edge-chipped. The color has shifted along the spine, as per usual with this jacket. The book and contents are fine, with a topstain that has fully faded.
Volume IV jacket is unclipped and virtually mint with a uniquely unfaded spine. The book and contents are fine, with fading to the topstain.
Volume V jacket is unclipped and unfaded along the spine but lightly edge-chipped, with a fractional slice of loss to the lower edge of the front face. The book and contents are fine, with fading to the topstain.
Volume VI jacket is neatly price-clipped but is otherwise pristine. The book and contents are fine.
-Volume VII jacket is unclipped and pristine. The book and contents are fine, with some fading to the topstain.
Volume VIII jacket is unclipped and virtually mint. The book and contents are fine, with a very bright and unfaded topstain.
A very handsome set overall, with excellent shelf appearance.
