This vintage ink Churchill autograph album page signature is framed with a gorgeous photograph of Winston Churchill at his Chartwell desk, taken February 25, 1939, while reviewing proofs for the first volume of A HISTORY OF THE ENGLISH-SPEAKING PEOPLES, a project he would soon set aside to rejoin Chamberlain’s government as First Lord of the Admiralty on September 3, 1939.
