Step by Step is a chilling anthology of Churchill’s prescient newspaper pieces about the rising Nazi threat, written for the Evening Standard and Daily Telegraph, commencing in 1936 with Hitler’s reoccupation of the Rhineland, through the final months before the declaration of war in 1939.
Description
This is a very good copy of the First American edition, in the rare dust jacket, which is unclipped and well preserved, bright on the front and rear faces, only nominally faded along the fade-prone spine. There is some edge wear, with light chipping and fractional edge-losses along the upper edge of the rear face and the spine head and tail. There are also a few faint scratches along the spine. The contents are fine and unfoxed.
An especially attractive copy.
