This original cartoon from Punch Magazine, dated September 11, 1929, is in very good condition. The caption reads:
“Pleasure Island: Being a Plan in the Old Manner of the Lake Island in Canada which Mr. Winston Churchill is Said to Covet.”
Drawn by the noted political cartoonist, L. Raven-Hill, who also illustrated STALKY AND CO. for Rudyard Kipling and KIPPS for H.G. Wells.
