Description

This is a charming original handbill from Churchill’s successful October 1924 campaign for Parliament, run entirely independent of party affiliation, as a self-proclaimed “Constitutionalist and Anti-Socialist” in the district of Epping; a constituency he would represent, uninterrupted, for the next forty years. The image features his daughter, Sarah Churchill, at the age of ten. The handbill (3 1/2 x 5 inches) is here handsomely matted and framed (9 x 12 inches overall).
