Description
The second volume of Winston Churchill’s collected post-war speeches (1947-1948). Churchill shocked some listeners with these speeches by suggesting that the only salvation for war-torn Europe was in rapprochement between France and Germany. The Soviet threat and Berlin airlift are also frequently addressed.
This is a very good copy of the First English edition in an unclipped dust jacket that is lightly edge-chipped, with a faint scratch to lower rear face, else fine. The cloth exhibits the bearest hint of dampstaining. The contents are fine.
