Description

On November 24th, 1950 General MacArthur ordered an attack on the Yalu River running between China and North Korea with the intention of ending the Korean War. This volume, the first to use Chinese sources to explain China’s decision to enter the war in October of the same year, uses fully documented original sources to provide the clearest picture possible of the conflict during 1950-51 and corrects many mistaken beliefs concerning the circumstances surrounding it. A fine copy, in like dust jacket.
